CLINTON, Iowa - David Demoll and Shawn Sabaricos won two matches apiece in the Elmhurst men's tennis team's 6-3 loss at Loras College 

Elmhurst (1-2) finished with one win in doubles and a pair of wins in singles play. Demoll and Sabaricos accounted for all three victories. 

The Bluejays' pairing of Demoll and Sabaricos scored an 8-5 win over Riley Michel and Sean Baldwin at No. 1 doubles. Elmhurst's Grant O'Connell and Lance Maharry fell 8-6 in a tightly contest No. 2 doubles match to Ryan Scheidt and Tommy Linkenheld. 

In singles play, Demoll scored a three-set marathon win over Charlie Harris at No. 1 singles. Demoll came away with a 7-6 (10-8), 6-7 (5-7) 10-8 win. Sabaricos followed with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Michel at No. 2 singles. O'Connell fell 6-3, 6-2 to Kevin Bloomquist at No. 3 singles while Baldwin defeated Maharry in three sets (1-6, 6-2, 10-5). Riley Collins downed Elmhurst's Tavious Imperial 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles. 

Elmhurst hosts Wabash and Monmouth on February 23.
