HANOVER PARK, Ill. - The Elmhurst men's tennis team slipped to 2-4 on the season after suffering a 7-2 loss to Cornell College.
Cornell (4-3) won two of the three doubles contests and five of the six singles matches en route to the victory.Â
Elmhurst scored its only doubles point at No. 3 doubles when
Chris Wallace and
Tavious Imperial upended Nick Adamou and Connor Schanen 8-5.Â
Wallace picked up the Bluejays' singles victory, scoring a 6-4, 6-2 win over Adamou at No. 5 singles.
Elmhurst plays at Illinois Wesleyan University on March 2.Â
