History

The Elmhurst men's soccer squad drew Illinois Wesleyan 0-0 to help the Bluejays secure a spot in the CCIW Tournament.

The Basics:

The Details:

It was a scoreless first half with, the Bluejays generating two shots and the Titans totaling ten in the first half.
At the end of regulation neither team had scored as Illinois Wesleyan had 16 total shots while the Bluejays totaled six.
Donnie Kvien made just one save while Alex Ruckstaetter totaled four for the Titans.
At the end of two overtimes neither team could find the back of the net, giving both teams their only conference tie of the season.

The Bluejays clinched the fourth playoff spot in the conference and will travel to compete in one of the CCIW Tournament semifinal matches at North Park on Wednesday (November 6, 2019).
