Keegan Thompson netted two goals on senior day to give the Elmhurst men's soccer team its third conference win of the season in a 2-1 win over Carroll University.

• Records: Elmhurst (9-6-1/CCIW 3-2); Carroll (7-7-0/CCIW 0-5)

 
The Details:

• In the 11th minute of the match Keegan Thompson was fouled in the bottom left corner of the box. Thompson scored on the ensuing penalty kick,  hitting the left corner of the net to take a 1-0 lead.
• At halftime the Bluejays led the match 1-0, while Donnie Kvien had three saves and Mathias Holm had two saves for Carroll.
• Thompson scored his second goal of the game in the 58th minuts, scoring to the low right corner to give Elmhurst a 2-0 lead.
• Just three minutes later, Carroll's Shea Connell collected his own rebound and scored to cut the Bluejays' lead to 2-1.
• Kvien helped hold on to the Elmhurst lead finishing with a total of six saves, while Holm finished with three saves on the day.
