Bluejays Rally Past Dominican in OT

ELMHURST, Ill. – Late goals in regulation and overtime propelled the Elmhurst women's soccer to a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Dominican University.
 
Dominican (0-1) struck first, scoring in the 19th minute on a Josseline Williams breakaway goal. The Star led 1-0 at the half and carried the lead in the 86th minute before Elmhurst scored the equalizer.
 
Sidney O'Keeffe blasted a point blank shot that Dominican keeper Abbey Brown knocked down. The rebound came loss to Kristin Kelly and Kelly buried the ball into a wide open net to knot the score at 1-1.
 
Elmhurst scored the game-winner with just 57.4 seconds left on the clock in overtime. MJ Lessila left a pass for Hannah Bacon in open space. Bacon drew Brown off the line and slide a pass through the box to a wide open O'Keeffe for the game-winner.
 
O'Keefe totaled three points with a goal and an assist in the victory. Sophia Tuliglowski picked the win in net, allowing just one goal while recording four saves. Tuliglowski made a pair of point blank, one-on-one saves to keep Elmhurst's deficit at just one goal before the Bluejays leveled the score near the end of regulation.
 
Dominican held a slight 13-9 edge in shots in the contest.
