WHEATON, Ill. - The Elmhurst men's tennis team resumed CCIW play with a 9-0 shutout loss at Wheaton College.

Elmhurst dipped to 0-11 overall and 0-2 in the CCIW with the loss while Wheaton upped its record to 4-9 overall and 3-0 in league play. 

Elmhurst's doubles team of Shawn Sabaricos and David Demoll along with Grant O'Connell and Nico Favuzzi both suffered 8-2 losses. Sabaricos and Demoll fell to Jeremiah Yi and Dane Paulsen at No. 1 doubled while O'Connell and Favuzzi fell to Anderson Park and Karl Wenzel at No. 2. 

In Singles play, Sabaricos fell 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles while Demoll suffered a 6-3, 6-0 loss to Paulsen at No. 2 singles. 

Elmhurst hosts Illinois Wesleyan on April 18.
