DECATUR, Ill. – The Elmhurst women's soccer team recorded its second consecutive CCIW victory by shutting out Millikin University 3-0.

Elmhurst battled a pair of weather delays to improve to 7-2-1 overall and 2-1 in league play.
 
The Bluejays scored a pair of goals and early and tacked on a late insurance goal while recording their seventh shutout of the season.
 
Jami Lessila scored off a Haley Parr assist less than five minutes into the contest to stake Elmhurst to an early lead. Parr netted her first goal of the season in the 15th minute to extend the Bluejays' lead to 2-0. Sidney O'Keeffe tacked on an insurance goal off a feed from Lessila in the 75th minute to account for Elmhurst's final tally.
 
Elmhurst outshot Millikin 13-7 in the contest. Sophia Tuliglowski notched her fifth shutout of the season in goal by stopping all five shots she faced. Jennifer Miller took the loss in goal for Millikin despite recording five saves.
 
Elmhurst hosts North Park University on Wednesday, October 10.
