ELMHURST, Ill. – Goals from
Hannah Bacon and
Hayley Parr lifted the Elmhurst women's soccer team to a 2-0 shutout win over North Park University.

Elmhurst ran its record to 8-2-1 overall and 3-1 in the CCIW with the victory. North Park fell to 4-7-1 overall and 0-3-1 in league play.

The Bluejays wasted little time getting on the scoreboard as Bacon connected on a goal from a
Sidney O'Keeffe pass just over two minutes into the match. Elmhurst made it 2-0 in the 35th minute when Parr scored off O'Keeffe's second assist of the contest.

The Bluejays made the two goals stand up for the duration of the contest, outshooting North Park 17-7 while also holding a 10-3 edge in shots on goal.

Sophia Tuliglowski recorded her sixth shutout of the season in goal by stopping both shots she faced. Theresa Weiss took the loss in goal for the Vikings, surrendering two goals while recording eight saves.

Elmhurst travels to Carroll University on Saturday, October 13.
