WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Elmhurst women's soccer team ran its record to 4-1 in the CCIW after scoring a 1-0 shutout win over Carroll University.
Lauryn Wesoloski broke a scoreless tie in the 73rd minute, scoring her first goal of the season off of a
Sidney O'Keeffe assist. The Bluejays defense made the goal stand up for the remaining 17 minutes to pick up the win.
Elmhurst (9-2-1 overall) finished with seven shots while Carroll (3-8-4, 0-3-2 CCIW) finished with 10.
Sophia Tuliglowski picked up her seventh shutout of the season by stopping all five shots she faced. Christina O'Block totaled three saves in goal for the Pioneers.
Elmhurst plays at North Central College on Wednesday, October 17.
