ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst women's soccer team wrapped up its regular season with a 3-0 loss to Illinois Wesleyan University at Langhorst Field.

Illinois Wesleyan (12-4-1, 5-3 CCIW) struck for a goal in the first half and tacked on two goals in the second half en route to the 3-0 victory.

Jordan Ellerbrock started the scoring for the Titans in the 17th minute, angling a shot through the box that kissed off the goal post and bounced into the net. Ellie Crabtree knocked home a rebound goal in the 67th minute to double the Titans' lead to 2-0. Kaitlyn Chen finished a breakaway goal in the 81st minute to account for the final goal of the contest. Flower Edington tacked on two assists in the contest for the Titans.

The Titans outshot Elmhurst 18-8 in the contest and held a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.

Sophia Tuliglowski took the loss in net for Elmhurst, registering four saves while allowing one goal in 60 minutes of action.
Bryce Marchetti played the final 30 minutes and recorded one save. Kelli McCarthy earned the shutout in goal for IWU with four saves.

Elmhurst finished the regular season with a 9-5-2 overall record and a 4-4 mark in the CCIW. The Bluejays have secured the fourth seed in the upcoming CCIW Tournament and will play a semifinal contest at top-seeded Wheaton College on Wednesday, October 31.
