ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst women's soccer team exploded for four goals in the second half to score a 4-0 win over Millikin University at Langhorst Field.

Elmhurst improved to 6-2 on the season and evened their conference record at 1-1 with the victory.

After a scoreless first half, the Bluejays dominated the action in the second, outshooting Millikin (6-3-1, 0-1-1 CCIW) 8-2 in the final 45 minutes.
Sidney O'Keeffe started the scoring with a goal in the 53rd minute after collecting a long pass from
Kim Stanczak and finding the back of the net. Just 2:30 later,
Brittany Reinhart's free kick was headed by
Emma Krick to an open
Jami Lessila who tucked the ball home for a 2-0 lead.

Mari Gragnani's pass to
Heather Hoffmann in the 76th minute led to Hoffmann's third goal of the season and gave Elmhurst a three-goal cushion. Reinhart converted a penalty kick in the 81st minute after a handball call on the Big Blue.

Elmhurst finished the game outshooting Millikin 13-6. The Bluejays also held an 8-1 edge in corner kicks.

Sophia Tuliglowski earned the shutout in goal by stopping all three shots she faced.
