BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Elmhurst women's soccer team suffered a 2-1 overtime loss at #21 Illinois Wesleyan University.

Elmhurst (7-3, 2-2 CCIW) scored first and led for over 30 minutes, but Illinois Wesleyan used a pair of goals from Flower Edington to upend the Bluejays.

Megan Mrazek put the Bluejays on the scoreboard first in the 25th minute. Mrazek collected a
Sidney O'Keeffe feed and tucked a shot inside in the far post to give the Bluejays the early lead. Elmhurst led 1-0 at the half.

Illinois Wesleyan answered back early in the second half. With 10 minutes in the books, Edington found the back of the net to even the score at 1-1. The game remained even at 1-1 after 90 minutes and headed into overtime. Eddington scored the game winner 6:33 into overtime as she headed home Rachel Westerkamp's free kick.

Illinois Wesleyan (10-2, 3-0 CCIW) outshot Elmhurst 13-9 in the contest, including 3-0 in overtime. The Titans also held a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

Sophia Tuliglowski recorded five saves in goal for the Bluejays.

Elmhurst hosts Wheaton College on Wednesday, October 11.
