LISLE, Ill. – The Elmhurst women's soccer team improved to 6-0 with a 1-0 shutout win over Benedictine.

Kim Stanczak continued her hot start, netting the only goal of the game in the 11th minute. She took advantage of a turnover and beat the keeper from 15 yards out. Stanczak now has 13 points (five goals and three assists) in six games.
Emily Gordon made three saves in net for Elmhurst as the Bluejays recorded their third consecutive shutout.
Elmhurst outshot Benedictine 17-5, including 8-3 in shots on goal.
Brittany Reinhart totaled seven shots including four on goal. Benedictine's Cassidy Henson made seven saves in taking the loss.
The Bluejays looks to continue their hot start on Wednesday, September 21 when they host Lake Forest College at 7:00 p.m.
