LISLE, Ill. - Austin MacMillan tossed a complete game shutout while leading the Elmhurst baseball team to a 2-0 win over Benedictine University.
 

MacMillan was virtually unhittable, allowing just two hits and two walks while shutting down the Eagles. Benedictine put a runner at second base in the first and second inning, but came up empty each time. MacMillan allowed only two baserunners to reach first for the final seven innings.
 
The Bluejays jumped on the scoreboard in the third. An RBI single from Ben Havel put the Bluejays in front 1-0. A.J. Compton made it 2-0 with a sacrifice fly to account for the game's final run.
 
Elmhurst threatened throughout the later innings but could not add to its lead, stranding nine runners over the final seven innings, but it did not matter with MacMillan cruising on the mound.
 
Havel, Matt Wilson and James Wick each collected two hits apiece to lead the Bluejays at the plate.
 
MacMillian improved to 3-2 with the victory. He allowed just two hits and two walked over nine innings of work while striking out eight.
 
Elmhurst travels to Carroll University tomorrow, May 5.
