CHICAGO, Ill. - Courtney O'Keeffe and Sidney O'Keefe each scored second-half goals to lead the Elmhurst women's soccer team to a 2-0 victory at Illinois Institute of Technology.

The win by Elmhurst snapped a six-game slide and the Bluejays improved to 9-7 on the year with the win. IIT fell to 6-12-1 on the season with the loss.

After a scoreless first half, Sidney O'Keeffe put the Bluejays on the scoreboard with a goal in the 52nd minute. Less than 10 minutes later, Courtney O'Keeffe made it 2-0 for Elmhurst with a goal in the 61st minute. 

Elmhurst outshot IIT 18-6 in the contest, including a 10-4 edge in the second half. The Bluejays also enjoyed a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.

Emily Gordon, Sophia Tuliglowlski and Bryce Marchetti combined for the shutout in goal. Gordon played the first half while Tuliglowski recorded two saves in 31 minutes and Marchetti stopped one shot in the games final 14 minutes. Jessica Park allowed two goals while recording seven saves for IIT. 

Elmhurst closes out the 2016 season by traveling to North Park University on Saturday, October 29.
