Offensively, Jones sparked a 10-1 run, including a running jumper as the clock expired to pull Elmhurst within two heading into the final quarter. Jones also pulled the Bluejays even with a fourth-quarter layup and, after a defensive stop, Eppard hit a layup to give Elmhurst its first lead since 2-0. After Katie McDaniels tied the score, a layup by Lipman put Elmhurst in front for good. The Bluejays did not allow a basket over the last 3:23 of the contest and hit 10-of-12 free throws (5-of-6 from Lipman) down the stretch to seal the upset.

Hannah Henderson played a big role on the defensive end with a career-high six steals (five in the second half) to go along with six points.
