CLERMONT, Fla. - The Elmhurst softball team concluded its 12-game Florida road trip by scoring a 13-0 win over Thomas College and a 5-1 victory over Lawrence University. The Bluejays completed the trip with a 9-3 record to move to 11-3 on the season.
ELMHURST 13, THOMAS 0 - Elmhurst opened the day with a 13-0 shutout win over Thomas. The Bluejays scored twice in the first and then added five runs in the third and sixth in the fourth to score the 13-run victory.

Boals scored a pair of runs while driving in a game-high four.
Tiffany Potthast drove in three while also scoring three runs. Jasinski scored two runs and recorded a pair of RBI while
Brianna Thompson also drove in two. Griffin scored three runs for the Bluejays in the victory.Â
Boals improved to 3-2 on the season with the victory. She worked four innings and allowed just one hit while not allowing a run. She walked one and struck out one in the victory.
ELMHURST 5, LAWRENCE 1 - Elmhurst closed its trip with a 5-1 victory, its ninth win on the Florida road trip.
The Bluejays gabbed a quick 1-0 lead in the second inning.
Bella Masini walked and then moved from first to third on a sacrifice bunt. Masini came home to score on a sacrifice fly from Boals.Â
Lawrence tied the score with a run in the third, but Elmhurst answered right back in the bottom of the frame as Masini singled home a pair of runs.
The Bluejays took advantage of a pair of Lawrence errors in the fifth to plate two more runs to put the game away.
Masini drove in a pair of runs to lead the Bluejays at the plate while
Ele Walter collected two hits and scored two runs. Jasinski and Boals each drove in a run while Griffin scored a pair of runs in the victory.
Potthast improved to 4-1 with the victory, tossing a complete game in the process. She scattered seven hits and four walks over seven innings of work. She allowed just one earned run while striking out one.
