, Ben Havel and Alex Molek staked Elmhurst to an early lead.

Millikin scored a run in the bottom of the first and tied the game with two runs in the second. The Big Blue went in front for the first time all weekend with a three-run outburst in the third. An RBI single from Keith Askins gave Millikin a 4-3 lead and Brian Ekiss added a two-run single to put Millikin on top 6-3.

Elmhurst broke through in the sixth inning by sending nine batters to the plate and scoring five runs on four hits. All five of Elmhurst's runs came with two outs in the inning. A.J. Compton started the scoring with a two-run double to left center. Tyler Wargo then doubled to right to knock in Compton and tie the score at 6-6. After Wolak walked, Tsiodras doubled to drive in two runs and put the Bluejays back in front 8-6.

The game was halted due to rain in the top of the seventh and after a nearly two-hour delay, the game was called with Elmhurst earning the two-run victory.

Tsiodras powered Elmhurst's offense, finishing 3-for-3 at the plate with three runs driven in. Compton and Molek collected two hits apiece with Compton driving in two and also scoring two runs.

Ryan Millan picked up the victory in relief, working 4.1 innings and allowing just five hits and two earned runs. He struck out three while not issuing a walk.

Elmhurst hosts Aurora University on Monday, April 28.
