ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst men's soccer team played Augustana College to a 1-1 draw in their second CCIW game of the season.
After playing a scoreless first 45 minutes, the Bluejays (6-3-3, 0-1-1 CCIW) scored early in the second half before the Vikings (8-4-1, 0-1-1 CCIW) equalized late.

Josh Rudd gave Elmhurst a 1-0 advantage with his second goal of the season. After a shot from
Nick Fecci was deflected, the ball came to Rudd's feet in front of the goal and he put a shot past Augustana's goalkeeper Brett Johnson.
The Bluejays held the lead until the 86th minute when the Vikings' Ryan Curry sent a long ball that found the head of Danny Campanga. Campanga beat Elmhurst's
John Reglin, scoring the equalizer.
Neither team could find the net in the two overtime periods. Both goalkeepers made two saves in extra time.
Augustana out shot Elmhurst 24-13 in the contest, but nine of the Bluejays' 13 shots were on target.
Reglin saved ten shots for Elmhurst, while Johnson stopped eight.
The Bluejays host North Central College Wednesday, October 15 looking for their first CCIW win of the season.
