Box Score CHICAGO, Ill. - The Elmhurst baseball team banged out 17 hits en route to an 11-3 win at the University of Chicago.
Elmhurst upped its record to 18-13 while Chicago fell to 19-11 with the loss.
Eleven different Bluejays recorded hits in the victory, including all nine starters.
Tyler Wargo finished 3-for-5 at the plate and drove in a team-leading three runs to pace the Bluejays' offense.

Zach Tsiodras recorded two hits apiece for the Bluejays. Hofer,
Alex Molek, and
Luke Collins drove in two runs each.
The Bluejays jumped on the scoreboard in the second inning when Wargo tripled home
Dave Wolak and
Marc Shield. Chicago struck back for a run in the bottom of the second to cut Elmhurst's lead in half.
Hofer extended Elmhurst's lead to three with a two-run single in the fourth inning. The Bluejays took advantage of a Chicago error in the sixth inning to score two runs on an RBI single from Wargo and a sacrifice fly from Tsiodras.
The Maroons plated two runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull to within three runs, but Elmhurst added a run the seventh on Wolak's sacrifice fly.
The Bluejays put the game away in the ninth inning, capitalizing on Chicago's fourth error of the game. After a Chicago error extended the Bluejays' inning, Molek and Collins each smacked two-run doubles to give the Bluejays an eight-run cushion.
Bryan Baker made the start and picked up the win for the Bluejays. Baker scattered five hits, four walks, and one run over five innings of work. Baker struck out two while improving to 2-2.
Eric Stevenson worked the final four innings to pick up his first save of the season. Stevenson allowed five hits, three walks, and two runs while striking out one.
Elmhurst travels to Benedictine University on Thursday (April 26) to resume a game that was halted earlier in the month due to a power outage.
