FULTON, Mo. - The Elmhurst College men's basketball team slipped to 4-4 overall following a 71-63 loss at Westminster College (Mo.).

With the game tied 34-34, Westminster (4-5) used a 12-0 run to pull away

Elmhurst shot only 37.5 percent (21-of-56) from the floor while Westminster hit 50.0 percent (26-of-52) of its shots from the floor. The Bluejays hit 9-of-23 three-point attempts (39.1 percent) while Westminster hit 2-of-10 from beyond the arc (20.0 percent).

James Robertson paced the Bluejays in the loss, scoring a career-high 28 points while shooting 8-of-17 from the floor. Robertson was red hot beyond the arc, hitting 7-of-13 from downtown. Zack Boyd added 12 points and five rebounds for the Bluejays. Erik Dornfeld came off the bench to score seven for the Bluejays. Nick Sanford collected a team-high nine rebounds in the loss.

Joe James led Westminster in the win, scoring 23 points and adding five assists. Verdis Lee chipped in with 16 points while Mookie Valandra scored 10.

Elmhurst travels to Benedictine University on Wednesday, December 14.
