ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College women's tennis team evened its record at 3-3 by shutting out the College of DuPage 9-0 at the Brune Tennis Courts.

The Bluejays swept all six singles matches and the three doubles contests en route to the 9-0 victory.

Virginia Dallman earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over COD's Joanie McMahon at No. 1 singles. Elmhurst's Stephanie Rufffollowed with a 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 triumph over Michal Ann Seeland at No. 2 singles while Rebecca Davis defeated Olivia Garza 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. The Bluejays' Alex Stark dropped only one game at No. 4 singles, defeating Natalie Kuick 6-1, 6-0. Elmhurst's Emily Tarlini did not lose a game to No. 5 singles, scoring a 6-0, 6-0 win over Mallory Piccirilli at No. 5 singles. COD did not compete at No. 6 singles, giving Elmhurst's Alexis Ross a win by default.

In doubles action, the tandum of Dallman and Ruff blanked McMahon and Seeland 8-0 at No. 1 doubles while Davis and Stark combined to shut out Garza and Kuick 8-0 at No. 2 doubles. COD did not field a team a No.3 doubles, giving Tarlini and Ross a win by default.
