Cody Boals (3-3) earned the win for Elmhurst. Boals scattered seven hits and three walks over six innings of work. He allowed four earned runs and struck out six.
Joe Frigo (3-5) took the loss for Millikin. Frigo was battered for 16 hits and nine runs (eight earned) in 5.1 innings of work.
As a result of the rain, the second game of the doubleheader was postponed. The teams have changed tomorrow's (Sunday, April 26) single game to a doubleheader. The start time will be bumped up to 12:00 p.m. The rescheduled doubleheader has forced Elmhurst to cancel its alumni game.
