Prior Experience:

Kuschert spent three seasons with the Elmhurst wrestling team, where he finished as a two-time runner up at the CCIW Championships at 149 pounds.

During his senior season (2004), Kuschert placed second at the CCIW Championships and helped the Bluejays earn their first CCIW Team Championship. Kuschert placed fourth at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, helping the Bluejays to a team-best second-place regional finish. Kuschert finished his career with a 74-34 overall record.
