Andrew Demos joined the Bluejays in May 2024 as the first head coach of the Elmhurst Women's Wrestling program.
Demos comes to Elmhurst after serving as a member of the coaching staff for both men's and women's wrestling at North Central College since 2022, most recently serving as a Graduate Assistant Coach. With the Cardinals, Demos was a part of the staff that won the 2023 National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championship (NCWWC), also earning runner-up honors in the 2024 edition of the national championship, and a pair of College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championships in 2023 and 2024.
Under the assistance of Demos, North Central has earned 29 All-American selections and has coached 15 student-athletes to a combined 18 CCIW Championships, and has assisted four different student-athletes to individual national championships in the past two years.
 Demos wrestled for five years at the University of Nebraska-Kearney and was a four-time NWCA Scholar All-American and earned All-Region honors at the 2020 NCAA DII Super Regionals at 197 pounds. Demos was also a member of the 2022 NCAA Division II National Championship team.
In addition to his time at North Central, Demos has previously served as the head girl's wrestling coach at Wilmot Union High School in Wisconsin and was an assistant coach at Fit and Fight Club in Niles, Ill. Demos is a native of Lake Villa, Ill.
