    Assistant Women's Soccer Coach
Merit Stloukal is entering her second season as an assistant coach with the women's soccer program at Elmhurst.

A former all-state and Parade Magazine All-American at St. Charles High School, Stloukal was a four-year starter in goal at Indiana University. Named the team's MVP for all four years, she collected All-Big Ten, All-Region and All-Big Ten Academic honors while at Indiana. She also helped guide the Hoosiers to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 1996. 

Following her collegiate career, Stloukal played goal for the Chicago Cobras from 1996-2001 helping the team finish as a national runner up in 1997 and win a national championship in 2000.

From 2007-09, Stloukal spent three seasons as a goalkeepers coach at Northern Illinois University, helping the Huskies keeper set multiple conference and school records. 

Stloukal has also worked with youth soccer teams, most recently coaching 8-18 year olds with Campton United Soccer Club. She previoulsy spent four years at the Kaneland Youth Soccer Orginazation and Kaneland United Soccer Club, serving as the head coach for U10 girls team. She's also coached for Tri-Cities Soccer and St. Charles Strikers while also serving as an assistant coach at St. Charles North High School and St. Charles East High School. 

She holds a USSF National D License and NSCAA Level 1 and 2 Goalkeeping Diplomas.
