James Van Artsdalen is entering his fourth year as an assistant coach with the Elmhurst women's soccer team. Van Artsdalen will work with the Bluejays' goalkeepers.
Van Artsdalen has served as a private goalkeeper coach since 2010 and holds USSF D and E licenses. At the club level, he has coached with the Springfield Thunder (U17,U18), Elgin Kickers and Lombard Firebirds. He has also been a goalkeeper coach for the Illinois Olympic Development Program.
Van Artsdalen played collegiate soccer at both Lake Forest College and Wittenberg University. At Wittenberg, he served as a two-year starter in goal and finished as the conference saves leader each season.
He holds a USSF E and D licenses.
