    Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
Mark Burke is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the Elmhurst women's basketball team.

Burke previously served as a part-time Assistant Director of Athletics at Elmhurst. 

Burke spent eight years as an assistant basketball coach at Millersville University from 1997-2004. He helped the team to five league tournament berths and a pair of PSAC League Championships in 2002 and 2003. The 2003 squad advanced the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. 

Following his coaching stent in Millersville, Burke served as the Director of Athletics at Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia from 2004-09. He supervised 15 sports, including the addition of ice hockey and lacrosse. Burke also began a leadership program to aid in students' growth as community leaders. 

Burke also served as the Director of Athletics at Wilmington Friends School in Delaware. He supervised the entire athletic's department from grades 7-12 while managing the department budget and supervising over 100 coaches of 17 different sports. 

Burke attended Moravian College in Pennsylvania and earned his bachelor's degree in 1992 while also lettering for four years in basketball. He earned a master's degree from Millersville University in 2003.
