Kristen Kinsella

Education:
Kristen graduated from Millsaps College (MS) with a degree in Anthropology and holds a Landscape Design Certificate from CLC.

Responsibilities:
Kinsella is responsible for assisting the women's basketball program with on-court coaching, as well as brand development for the team's digital media presence.

Prior Experience:

Kristen Kinsella (maiden: Kristen Ambron), emerged as a three-sport powerhouse during her years at Driscoll Catholic High School in Addison, IL. Though her basketball career would be cut short after only playing one season at Illinois Wesleyan, her passion for basketball never relented.

Prior to pivoting into her role with Elmhurst Women's basketball, Kristen was an instrumental figure in the success of an international tech startup.  From sales and relationship management to digital marketing and event coordination, to training end users to coaching the international marketing and growth teams on the importance of the product cultural insights ensuring all branding and messaging across all communications were on point.

Her professional journey also includes roles in as an estimator in commercial landscaping, a tech analyst for county government-elections, and the Head of Library Circulation for Lake Forest College.

On the basketball court, Kristen's passion is palpable. She has been a Head and Assistant Coach for All-In girls' travel basketball and Libertyville Wildcats feeder basketball program. She has a combined 30 seasons of serving as an official for Men's and Women's Division III college basketball programs. Off the court, Kristen resides in Libertyville with her partner and their children. She currently works in the Special Education Department of a local high school. And, when not at work, you will find Kristen coaching her children's rec teams in their various sports, as she has been doing for the past 15 years.
