Pete Catalano returns for his third season as an assistant coach with the Elmhurst University softball team.
Catalano previously served as the hitting coach for Augustana College as well as serving as the head coach of the Rockers Black travel team.
Catalano has coached softball, football, baseball and basketball at the high school and collegiate level in his carer. In addition to previously serving as an assistant football coach with Elmhurst's football team, Catalano has also coached at Lake Park High School, Ridgewood High School, St. Joseph High School, Ridgewood High School and Nazareth Academy.
He earned his bachelor's degree from Bradley University and a K-12 teaching certificate from Northeastern University. He owns the Village Deli Bake Shop and resides in Medinah with his wife, Laura. The couple has two grown children, Bianca and Marissa.
