Education:
Cole earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2019. She is pursuing a master's degree in Industrial and organizational psychology at Elmhurst University.
Responsibilities:
Cole is responsible for assisting with recruiting, coaching, and day-to-day tasks for the Elmhurst men's and women's cross country and track and field programs.
Prior Experience:
Cole was a four-year participant on the cross country and track teams at Illinois Wesleyan University. She earned academic all-conference honors in 2018 and 2019.
Cole placed third at the 2018 CCIW Cross Country Championships and added a 15th place finish at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional to individually qualify for the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships where she placed 74th overall.
During the track and field season, she earned all-conference honors in both the 3,000 and 5,000 meters at the 2019 CCIW Indoor Track & Field Championships by placing third and fourth, respectively. She also earned all-conference honors in the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters at the 2019 CCIW Outdoor Track & Field Championships by placing second in both races. Cole was honored as Breakout Athlete of the Year by the Illinois Wesleyan Athletic Department for her performance in the 2018 cross country and 2019 track and field seasons.
