Vince McPherson returns to Elmhurst in his second year as an assistant coach.
McPherson played tennis for the Bluejays from 2011-14, finishing his career with a 51-49 overall record. He ranks 11th in career singles victories in Elmhurst history. He won 30 matches at No. 3 singles, the second-highest total in Elmhurst history.
In doubles play, McPherson totaled a 51-50 record, ranking 13th in school history for doubles victories. He teamed with Kevin Noble to capture the CCIW No. 3 doubles title during the 2013 season.
McPherson earned second-team all-conference honors during the 2013 season while also being named the CCIW Championship's MVP that same year.
