Education:
Baines earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Illinois Wesleyan in 1998. He received a master's degree in sports administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2003.
Responsibilities:
Baines is responsible for assisting the coaching and recruiting efforts for the Elmhurst men's golf team. In addition, he serves as the Head Men's Basketball coach.
Prior Experience:
Baines previously served as the head women's golf coach at Elmhurst and was also an assistant women's golf coach at the University of St. Francis. In 2015, he guided the Bluejays' men's team to a fifth-place finish in the CCIW. He was also the team's head coach in 2014-15.
Personal:
He and his wife, Emily, reside in Elmhurst with their daughter, Sloane, and son, Jackson.
