Home to the Elmhurst football, soccer and track and field programs, Langhorst Field serves as the College's primary outdoor facility. Renovated in 2002, the field is surrounded by an all-weather rubberized track. In the summer of 2011, the field was resurfaced with state-of-the-art FieldTurf. Permanent lighting was also installed in 2011. The stadium seats over 2,500 fans.
Additional recent improvements at Langhorst Field include a new scoreboard, a new decorative fence, an expanded locker room, and a Legacy Wall listing all of Elmhurst College's head football and soccer coaches.
Langhorst Field is located just off the corner of Prospect Avenue and Alexander Street.
