HUNTLEY, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's golf team began its 2026 season at the Judson University Invite at Pinecrest Golf Club, where it finished in a three-way tie for fifth place.

Madeline Logan led the way for the Bluejays, carding an 82 (+10) through 18 holes to finish in a two-way tie for sixth. Laine Leonard and Ava Ferri followed closely behind shooting an 86 (+14) and 87 (+15) respectively.

Sydney Pohlmann and Ava Sweeten rounded out the scorecard for the top Blue and White team with a 94 (+22) and 95 (+23).

Elmhurst posted a team score of 349 (+61), just 14 strokes behind the invite-winner.

Up Next: The Bluejays travel to Rock Island, Ill. for the two-day Highland Classic on Sept. 5 and 6. Action is set to begin at 8 a.m. from Highland Springs Golf Course.
