Box Score ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's basketball team hosted North Central College on Saturday Afternoon (Jan. 4th) 

The Bluejays (9-3, 1-3 CCIW), Sierra Gibson led the team in points with 12 while adding two rebounds, Kirstin Bukata would add 11 points of her own with three steals, rebounds and two assists. Cierra Steemer would score eight points while adding nine rebounds, two blocks and steals. 

The Cardnials (6-6, 2-1 CCIW), were led by Jocelyn Trotter would lead the Cardinals wit 16 points while adding six rebounds, two assists and a steal. Biz Daly would record a double double as she scored 14 of her own points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Megan McClure would add 10 points while grabbing seven rebounds and adding two assists and a steal. 

The Cardnials would lead the game from the start with while scoring 21 points in the first quarter to the Bluejays 15 to take a solid six point lead. The Second quarter would be more of the same as the Cardnials' Daly would make a layup at 5:46 to start the Cardnials 20-7 run to end the second half up 44-28. 

The Bluejays were able to keep the third close as they scored 23 points while the Cardnials would score 26 of their own. The fourth would be the same story as they Bluejays scored 12 points and the Cardnials would add 13 to win 83-63 over the Bluejays.

The Bluejays will return to play on Jan. 8th as they travel to Carthage College for another CCIW contest, tip-off will be at 7:00pm ct.
