LOCKPORT, Ill. -Â The Elmhurst University men's tennis team fell, 2-6, to the University of St. Francis (Ill.) Tuesday afternoon to kick off the spring 2024 campaign.
Elmhurst (0-2) was unable to pick up any full match victories, as both of their two points came via forefit from the Fighting Saints (1-0).
Ben Cavka provided a close match at No. 1 Singles, but fell in straight sets with each being scored 6-3.
Russell Reyes' match at No. 3 singles needed a tiebreaker in the second set, but Aidan Flores of USF pulled through to take the match victory.

Elmhurst will host Milwaukee School of Engineering this Friday, Mar. 15, for their spring home opener beginning at 2:00 p.m.
