AURORA, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's wrestling team dropped a pair of dual meets to Aurora University and Quincy University Tuesday (Dec. 3) evening.

Elmhurst fell to 0-3 overall and an 0-2 mark in CCIW action with the two losses. Aurora defeated Elmhurst and fell to Quincy to move to a 5-3 record, while Quincy won both matches to improve to 5-3 on the season.

In the Bluejays' first match, Elmhurst managed one point in the dual after a tough match with their Division II opponents. Clara Rice provided the lone team point for Elmhurst in her match at 180.

Against the host Spartans, Elmhurst kept it close in the beginning as Veronica Cosio pinned national-qualifier Mia Moore in 1:41, tying the meet at five after a fall at 103. From there, the Spartans would take every match with exception to a forefiture win for Elmhurst at 207, putting another five points on the board.
