ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's basketball team fell in its final contest of the season to Wheaton College, 78-42.

The Bluejays trailed by just nine points at the half, 29-20. The Thunder went on to outscore Elmhurst 49-22 in the second half in route to a decisive road win.

Elmhurst (3-21/1-15 CCIW) was led by senior Taylor Harazin who finished with a double-double featuring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Katie Matrise added in 14 points of her own in the loss.

Caroline Sikkink led the way for Wheaton (15-10/10-6 CCIW) with 18 points and nine boards. Alyssa Faberowski followed closely behind with 14 points and six rebounds, while Kate Oliver added in 11 points and six boards in the win. Annika Richardson rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points.

The Thunder shot 43.5 percent (27-of-62) from the field compared to the Bluejays 21.2 percent (11-of-52).
