Box Score Elmhurst Ill. - The Elmhurst University Women's Basketball Team lost their Home Opener to Alma College on Wednesday Night. 

The Bluejays (1-1) were led by Shanyce Makuei as she recorded a double double with (24) points and (11) rebounds. Other top scorers for the Bluejays included Anna Klesznski, Kristin Bukata and Nariyah Smith who all scored (9) points. 

The Scots (2-1) were led by Brooke LeRoux and Izzy Alston as they both recorded a double double, LeRoux had (20) points and (10) rebounds while Alston had (18) points and (13) rebounds. 

The Bluejays had control of the first quater ending with a two point lead, but that was the last time the Bluejays would hold the lead as the Scots would take a 12 point lead into half time. The Scots would boost their lead to 19 points in the third quater and not look back as they would beat the Bluejays for their first loss of the season.

The Bluejays will return to action Saturday,  November 18th as they will travel to Milwaukee School of Engineering for a 2:00pm tip-off.
