RIVER FOREST, Ill. -Â The Elmhurst University women's soccer team earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Concordia University Chicago Sunday afternoon.
Elmhurst (6-8-3, 0-6-1 CCIW) found an early goal from
Kelli Coughlin in the sixth minute and held on the following 85 minutes to earn their sixth win of the season. Coughlin led the team with six shots on the day, while
Camila Rubio added an assist on the Coughlin goal. Freshman keeper
Megan Kleve added another shutout to her resume, not needing to make a single save on the day.
Concordia Chicago (3-11-3, 3-6-2 NACC) tllied just three shots in the match, while goalkeeper Brooke Sheriff tallied eight saves on the match.Â
