ELMHURST, Ill.- The Elmhurst University wrestling team dropped their final home dual of the season, 3-42, to No. 7 North Central Thursday evening inside R.A. Faganel Hall.

Roberto Pena earned the lone match victory for the Bluejays on the evening at heavyweight, earning a 6-0 decision over Max Ness for the Cardinals.

North Central won the first nine matches on the evening before Pena's victory in the final match of the evening. The Bluejays fall to 3-6 overall and 1-5 in conference play, while North Central improves to 9-3 overall and 5-0 in the CCIW.

UP NEXT

The Bluejays will play host to the 40th annual Al Hanke Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 14 beginning at 9:00 a.m. CT. Elmhurst, North Central, Millikin, Carthage, and 14 other teams will converge inside R.A. Faganel Hall for the event.
