DECATUR, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to Millikin University at Frank M. Lindsay Field.

The Big Blue (5-5-2/3-2-0 CCIW) started off strong with a goal by Bailee Blecker in the fourth minute of play to give Millikin a 1-0 lead.

Millikin tallied its second and final goal of the contest with under two minutes to play. Faith Marinier found the back of the net off of a corner kick from teammate Hannah Henson.
The Big Blue outshot the Bluejays (0-14-0/0-6-0 CCIW) 20-7.

MaKenzee Velchek and Aleksia Vranjes combined for seven saves in the loss, while Sophie Dorgan earned the win in goal with one save.

Elmhurst returns home to Langhorst Field to take on Illinois Wesleyan University on Wednesday, October 19 at 7:00 p.m.
