Bluejays Top MacMurray 4-1.

The Elmhurst women's soccer squad picked up their third straight win, defeating MacMurray College 4-1 on the road.

The Details:
  • The Bluejays' struck early in the 10th minute when d Hayley Parr scored her first goal of the season on a Gabby Ketola assist to give Elmhurst 1 -0 lead.  
  • Brooke Janeczek added to the Bluejays' lead just five minutes later when she finished a pass from Lauren Wesoloki.
  • In the 19th minute of the half Parr scored her second goal on the day to give the Bluejays' a commanding 3-0 lead.
  • It was an eventful first half for the Bluejays' as Janeczek tacked on her second goal of the match to give her squad a 4-0 lead.
  • At halftime Elmhurst totaled 11 shots and six corner kick opportunities.
  • In the 75th minute of the match Krystal Kohenskey scored for the Highlanders, making the score 4-1.
  • The Bluejays' had a total of 14 shots and held a 12-2 edge in corner kicks on the day.
  • Kayla Enochs had four saves for the Highlanders' while Sophia Tuliglowski and MaKenzee Velcheck combined for four saves on the day.
