The Elmhurst women's soccer team dropped its CCIW contest to North Central 2-1 on Langhorst Field.
 
The Basics:

• Records: Elmhurst 8-5-2/ 2-3-1 CCIW; North Central 8-7-1/ 4-2 CCIW

 
The Details:

• In the first half neither of the squads were able to find the back of the net.
• At the end of the half the score was tied at 0-0. Sophia Tuliglowski had three saves for the Bluejays, while Madison Lockard had six on the half for the Cardinals.
• The Bluejays took the lead in the 55th minute of the match when Lauryn Wesoloski struck a corner kick that MJ Lessila headed down to Yasmin Chavez. Chavez collected the pass and netted the goal to give Elmhurst a 1-0 lead.
• Shortly after in the 58th minute, North Centrals' Aly Crum scored a rebound goal off of a Kaitlyn Cannon shot to tie things up at 1-1.
• Crum struck again late in the 82nd minute on a long pass from Lauren Fischer to give the Cardinals the 2-1 lead.
• The Bluejays could not find the back of the net in the remaining eight minutes. They had a total of 13 shot opportunities, while the Cardinals totaled 15 on the day.
