MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Five Bluejays reached double figures in scoring to lead the Elmhurst women's basketball team to an 85-52 victory over the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Elmhurst evened its record at 1-1 on the season while scoring its first road victory of the year.

MSOE (0-1) scored the game's first six points, but the Bluejays took over, outscoring the Raiders 31-3 over the next 8:30 while building a 31-9 lead after the first quarter. The Bluejays continued to pull away in the second, outscoring MSOE 21-10 to take a 52-19 lead into the locker room at halftime. Elmhurst led by as many as 42 points in the second half and MSOEÂ came no closer than 31 points as the Bluejays coasted to the 33-point victory.

Mikaela Eppard paced Elmhurst's attack, finishing with 18 points and seven rebounds while shooting 7-of-8 from the floor.
Jasmin Bailey knocked down four three-pointers to finish with 12 points.
Hannah Henderson added 12 points and a team-best seven assists.
Kaela Jones chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds.
Becca Gerke came off the bench to score 10 points for the Bluejays while
Lisa Logan added eight points and a team-best eight rebounds.
Julia Madrid added nine points for Elmhurst in just three minutes of action.

Elmhurst finished the game shooting 56.4 percent (31-of-55) from the floor, including 45.5 percent (10-of-22) from three-point distance. Elmhurst dominated on the glass, outrebounding MSOE 45-29. The Bluejays also outscored MSOE 40-20 in the paint.

MSOE shot just 29.0 percent (18-of-62) from the field in the loss. Shaylan Reardon led the Raiders in the loss with 16 points. Brooke Scott added eight points for MSOE.
