RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The Elmhurst women's soccer team battled Dominican University to a scoreless 0-0 draw in the Bluejays' final non-conference game of the season.
 
Elmhurst moved to 9-5-1 on the season with the draw while Dominican stayed unbeaten on the year, moving to 15-0-4 on the year.
 
Neither squad was able to find the back of the net in nearly two hours of play. Dominican outshot Elmhurst 9-4 in the opening half, but the Bluejays put the only shot of the half on goal. Elmhurst and Dominican both put two shots on goal but came up empty sending the game to overtime. Dominican outshot Elmhurst 3-1 in the first OT and neither squad managed to put a shot on goal in the second overtime resulting in the scoreless draw.
 
Dominican outshot Elmhurst 19-11 in the contest but the Stars only held a slim 4-3 edge in shots on goal. The Stars held an 8-4 edge in corner kicks.
 
Bryce Marchetti recorded her second shutout of the season stopping all four shots she faced. The Stars' Abby Brown totaled three saves while recording the shutout for Dominican.
 
Elmhurst wraps up the 2017 regular season by hosting Dominican University on Saturday, October 28.
