ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Elmhurst women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Augustana on the road.

Melinda Vickers made five saves to keep the game scoreless.
Augustana (10-3-0, 1-1 CCIW) broke through in the 62nd minute when Kelly Farell scored off an assist from Mady Huber. Elmhurst had three chances to equalize, but Augustana's Meredith Chew made two saves to finish the shutout.
The Vikings out shot the Bluejays 11-8, including seven shots on goal to three. Chew finished the game with three saves, while Vickers stopped six shots.
Elmhurst looks for its first CCIW victory on Wednesday, October 14 against North Central.
