Briana Small sent a cross in from the right side of the field that landed perfectly for O'Keeffe, who put her header inside the far post. The Bluejays improve to 7-5 overall and 1-2 in the CCIW, while North Central falls to 5-4-2 and 2-1 in conference play.

Elmhurst scored the game's first goal in the 32nd minute. Jackie Belmonte received a pass from Kim Stanczak and ripped a 25-yard shot to the lower corner of the goal for her second goal of the season.

North Central equalized just four minutes later when Caley Michalak scored among traffic in the box.

After a scoreless second half and first overtime period, O'Keeffe cashed in on her opportunity with just 2:50 remaining in the second overtime.

Elmhurst outshot North Central 23-12 in the contest. O'Keeffe and Emily Heimerdinger led the Bluejays in shots with four, while Noelia Reyes led the Cardinals with three.

Melinda Vickers recorded four saves in the win, while Nicki Seiton stopped seven shots for North Central.

The Bluejays look to pull even in conference play this Saturday, October 18 when they travel to Millikin University.
