Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Elmhurst women's soccer team slipped to 7-3 overall and 1-1 in the CCIW after suffering a 5-1 loss at Illinois Wesleyan University.

Illinois Wesleyan scored the game's first three goals to race out to a 3-0 halftime lead. Sydney Fox tallied an unassisted strike in the 17th minute after scoring off of a rebound to give the Titans a 1-0 lead. An own goal by the Bluejays put the Titans up 2-0 in the 31st minute. Tille Bill made it 3-0 after connecting off a feed from Skyler Tomko.

Elmhurst cut into the lead in the 70th minute when Kelsey McNeela scored off an assist from Jackie Belmonte.

Bill added a goal off an Emily Johnson assist in the 73rd minute and Tomko scored off a pass from Jenna Baker in the 87th minute to make the final score 5-1 in favor of the Titans.

Illinois Wesleyan (8-1-2) outshot Elmhurst 22-6 in the contest..

Emily Gordon took the loss in net for Elmhurst, allowing three goals while recording two saves in the opening half. Olivia Schoch played the second half and surrendered two goals while stopping three shots. Zoie Samaan earned the win for the Titans, allowing one goal while stopping four Elmhurst shots.

Elmhurst hosts Marian University on October 8.
